Last week was another busy week for me. I started a new job and had some big projects due. The extended weekend provided me an opportunity to catch up a little bit. SMSU did not have classes on Monday in honor of Veterans Day. (Thank you all who have served our country.) One of the over 100 student groups on campus is the Veterans Club. They are a very active group who always has great fundraising events (especially the walking tacos). Although it was a 3-day weekend, the SMSU campus was very busy. We hosted some high school playoff games. Volleyball had games on Friday and Saturday. Football played on Saturday. Wheelchair basketball had games on Saturday and Sunday. I attended a little of each on Saturday. There was also a local craft fair on campus.
